A different kind of financial relationship starts with knowing the person.
Wise Above began with Liza’s belief that financial services could be more personal, more understandable, and more connected to the life behind the numbers.
Her experience in the financial world showed her how easily the work can become transactional: complete the task, deliver the answer, and move on. She wanted to build something different—something rooted in relationships, education, responsiveness, and genuine care.
As a single mother building a career while raising her son, Liza also understood that financial decisions rarely happen in isolation. Behind the tax return, the books, or the financial question is usually a bigger story: a family, a business, a goal, or something someone is trying to protect and build.
That perspective became Wise Above. Clients may arrive with one immediate need, but Liza’s job is to understand the whole situation, explain what matters, and help them make a stronger next decision.
